Tomorrow is the first of two days of HOT Vehicle Extrication classes at FDIC. This weekend we set up at Zore’s Inc in Indy. Tonight was also the HOT Instructors meeting where I got to see a legend in the fire service, FDNY Captain Robert Morris of Rescue 1. Bobby Halton recognized his long and distinguished career. All the FDIC instructors were given a numbered challenge coin as a token of appreciation for teaching this week. The room was packed full of the some of the best instructors in the fire service and I was humbled to be there with them.
I would like to thank a bunch of companies and the people behind them that helped with equipment, tools, and gear to bring a world class training to the firefighters taking HOT Vehicle Extrication classes this year. TECGEN, The PIG, TNT Rescue, Holmatro, Hurst, HexArmor, Schmitz Mittz, Haix, 911Tools, Hi-Lift Jacks, and many more.
