One question I’m asked often is what vehicle has the largest airbag. While the 2015 Ford Transit has a Side-Curtain Airbag! Just how big you ask? The airbag measures about 15 feet long and 3 feet tall, with the ability to hold a volume of 120 liters. For comparison, the side-curtain airbag in the Ford Fusion stands at 6.8 feet long and 2 feet tall, with a volume of 4.2 liters. Two large stored gas inflators fill up the bag.
