So calls like this never happen? Take a look at the pictures and start playing it out in your mind. How many vehicles, how many occupants or pedestrians? Is anyone trapped under a vehicle? Any fluids/fuel leaking? Lastly, do you have enough struts and platform to work on?

Mike Huffman, the man behind the Crunch Time Vehicle Extrication Training, Symposium flew me out to teach a class.

I wish I could say I found this very well photographed extrication scene, but FireGeezer here at FireEMSBlogs.com broke the story last night! How would you handle this scene? By all accounts, the Glenview Fire Department did a great job getting the occupants out!

Walking around the floor at FDIC I thought to myself that I must be in extrication heaven, or at least Struts Galore to say the least! Struts were everywhere at FDIC. Almost every major strut manufacturer had a booth with a car with the rubber up. Below are a few pictures from Res-Q-Jack’s and Paratech’s booth.
